Group sessions and meals are offered in the Foehliage's main house.Main House

Main House was purchased in 2001. The vision for the existing smaller house was developed into the expansive river side structure that stands today.  The renovation was significant, raising a second floor storage area into a master bedroom that juts into the canopy of the massive oaks.

All of the important elements of the original house were preserved in the expansion of the main living space that now houses an open kitchen, dining room and living area opening onto the Sassafras River. A conference room space off the living area can be closed for privacy.

The main house has four bedrooms.  One is on the first floor. These rooms have dedicated or shared baths and provide a variety of sleeping options.

Group sessions and meals are offered in this space.

Sassafras Cottage

This quaint space is adjacent to the main house and boasts a living, dining, full kitchen with three bedrooms.  The master bedroom on the first floor has a queen bed and an adjoining private bath.  Two bedrooms on the second floor share a bath.

This cottage is perfect for expanded retreat participation and a hermitage experience for a single person.

Gregg Neck Cottage at Foehliage Retreat Center, Galena, MDGregg Neck Cottage

This cottage across the lane from the main house was built in the 1960’s and is the newest property for The Foehliage added in 2017. The property has four bedrooms, a living area, a full kitchen, library and screened-in porch. A fresh coat of paint, carpet and window coverings turned this sleepy location into a vibrant space for retreatants.
